Dominion Post Rebrand
The new Dominion Post champions the consumer voice. We envisioned a news website where users could
enjoy a personalised interactive experience with the content they read. Our main feature was the article toolbar that
follows the user as they read the article. Aside from bookmark, sharing and printing features, points of interest in
the article can be highlighted and commented on, and articles with a high amount of interaction are featured on the
homepage. The website also makes use of an updated colour palette derived from New Zealand flora and fauna
to distinguish news categories.
This final concept was shaped by user testing and prototyping that was driven by six user personae of varying
background and needs.
